About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee its accounting operations and support the organization’s financial goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys making an impact while working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
Salary Range: $100,000–$120,000

Overview of the Accounting Manager Role:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and organizational policies
Coordinate audit preparation and work closely with external auditors
Partner with leadership and department managers on budgeting and financial planning
Monitor financial activity and provide insights into trends, variances, and opportunities
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
Ensure accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and reconciliations
Support process improvements and help strengthen the organization’s accounting and financial procedures
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Previous Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or senior-level accounting experience
Nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and audit processes
Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
