Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager. Ideal candidates must have a degree in accounting, several years of accounting experience showing progressive responsibility, and experience overseeing a team.
Responsibilities
Oversees and provides guidance to senior and staff accountants related to accounting processes and procedures
Prepares monthly journal entries and financial statements for the company and its affiliates
Prepares appropriate tax returns and various other analyses and reports as required
Supports external auditors and managers with audits
Applies Lean principles to continually identify areas of efficiency related to departmental processes
Supports continued automation of processes
Responsible for the oversight and professional development of 5+ subordinates
Qualifications
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
CPA preferred
Experience Required:
6+ years of progressively more responsible accounting duties
2+ years supervisory experience
Strong experience working with accounting software packages and Excel
Knowledge and experience in preparing complex accounting reports and problem resolution
Strong interpersonal skills
