Position: Accounting Manager (Path to Controller)
Company: B2B Distributor
Location: Miami (Doral)
Office Setting: 5 days in the office (no hybrid)
Summary:
A well-established, Miami-based B2B distribution company with over 40 years of success is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its team. This is a highly visible role with direct interaction with ownership and executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Partner closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives, financial planning, and performance optimization
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning activities
Help coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
Foster and cultivate a growing accounting team
Deliver actionable financial insights to support executive decision-making
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
10+ years of total accounting experience
Strong ERP systems experience (NetSuite strongly preferred)
Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables/charts, power query and lookups)
Bilingual in English and Spanish
