Accounting ManagerThe Hiring Advisors is partnering with a manufacturing powerhouse in the LA area to find an Accounting Manager. If you bridge the gap between Big 4/public accounting rigor and hands-on manufacturing cost accounting—and you actually enjoy a deep-dive variance analysis—this is your next move.Responsibilities:Own the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, preparing complex journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.Manage the full cash-in/cash-out cycle (AP/AR), employee expense management, billing, collections, and cash flow monitoring.Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits, gathering documentation, ensuring GAAP compliance, and maintaining ironclad internal controls.Partner with leadership to streamline financial systems (QuickBooks Advanced, BILL, Brex, ERPs) and improve data flow as the company scales.Oversee payroll accounting and manage state, federal, and local tax portal compliance.Requirements:5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a blend of public accounting (Big 4 or regional) AND private manufacturing experience (any manufacturing sector welcome!).Solid, practical understanding of inventory tracking, standard costing, and COGS in a physical product environment.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.An active CPA license.Advanced Excel skills (pivots, index/match, complex modeling) and deep experience with mid-market ERPs and accounting tech stacks.High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and a desire to be on-site collaborating with the team daily.The Perks & Pay$110,000 – $150,000 base salary (DOE) + annual performance bonus.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with company match.Location & Work SetupThis is a 100% full-time, on-site position based in the Los Angeles area.
