Financial Projects & Processes

Month-End Close: Manage the full-cycle month-end closing process, including journal entries, financial analysis, account reconciliations, and comprehensive plant reporting.

Cost Accounting & Variance Analysis: Oversee the standard costing system, including annual cost-rolls and manufacturing variance analysis. Provide executive-level commentary on weekly and monthly management reports.

Investment Strategy: Manage the BU investment strategy and project analysis (CER - Capital Expenditure Requests) pipeline. Partner with the Capital Projects Manager to provide strategic oversight on spend, ROI analysis, and project tracking.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive the AOP and periodic forecasting processes by partnering with the Controller and operational leads. Ensure fiscal alignment across all departments and synthesize complex financial fluctuations into clear, actionable summaries for leadership review.

Special Assignments: Provide financial guidance and support for special projects, including internal/external audit support and physical inventory management.

What You Need to Succeed:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required). CPA, CMA, or MBA (Preferred).

Experience: 5–8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to look beyond the numbers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the business.

Ability to communicate complex financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management in a concise and actionable format.

Demonstrate a strong professional presence with the capacity to influence decision-making at all organizational levels. Lead cross-functional initiatives with a high degree of ownership and a steadfast commitment to accountability and results.

Highly organized with the ability to manage complex, competing priorities and meet strict deadlines during the close and audit cycles.
