This role is hybrid with 3 days per week in office. We are looking for a dynamic individual with the capacity to efficiently oversee multiple client engagements while demonstrating proficiency in reviewing period end accounting, tax returns, managing staff and conducting research. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the aptitude to foster professional growth among our staff.What It Means to Work for EisnerAmper:You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industryYou will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balanceYou will join a culture that has received multiple top "Places to Work" awardsWe believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create innovative solutionsWe understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundationShowing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best workWhat Work You Will Be Responsible For:Manage multiple client accounting service engagements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable standards.Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and addressing accounting inquiries.Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.Responsible for training, supervising and ongoing development of associates and seniors.Cultivate expertise in and impart specialized knowledge congruent with firm niches, initiatives and needs.Take responsibility for accurate time and billing for self and team.Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines.Actively solicit new client relationships and participate in client/potential client seminars to expand networking opportunities.Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements.Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services.Hold self and direct reports responsible for achieving developmental goalsProfessional Development: Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and develop industry-specific expertise.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required5+ years of accounting or tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/Corporate mixCPA or IRS Enrolled Agent CertificationPrior public accounting or professional services industry experiencePreferred/Desired Qualifications:Exceptional technical knowledge of US GAAPExperience with CCH Access TaxFamiliar with QuickBooks Online and DesktopEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
