Lease Accounting Manager (43016)
Our client is a well-established, publicly traded, international organization known for its high-performing team, strong leadership, and collaborative culture. They are seeking a Lease Accounting Manager to oversee lease accounting activities, lead a direct report, and support various accounting initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities
Oversee lease accounting activities, ensuring compliance with ASC 842 and applicable accounting standards.
Manage lease-related month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Review lease agreements, assess accounting implications, and maintain accurate lease schedules and supporting documentation.
Lead, mentor, and develop a direct report while ensuring accuracy and efficiency across lease accounting processes.
Partner with accounting, finance, and cross-functional teams across international operations to support reporting and business initiatives.
Participate in ad hoc projects, process improvements, and special accounting initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
CPA preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including strong technical knowledge of lease accounting and ASC 842.
Public accounting and/or publicly traded company experience preferred, with exposure to complex, multinational accounting environments.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to lead others and collaborate across teams.
