Accounting Services AssociateWe are a dynamic and growing public accounting firm in Laramie, Wyoming, dedicated to providing high-quality accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services to a diverse range of clients. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Services Associate to join our team and play a key role in delivering excellent financial services to our clients.Position OverviewAs an Accounting Services Associate, you will oversee the full cycle of bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple clients across various industries. This role requires a strong understanding of financial record-keeping, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively within our team.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and reconcile general ledgers, bank accounts, and credit card statements for multiple clients.Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.Oversee payroll processing, including tax reporting and compliance with federal and state regulations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for client reporting and analysis.Assist in tax preparation by organizing and summarizing financial data for accountants and CPAs.Ensure compliance with accounting principles and government regulations.Provide client support, addressing inquiries related to financial transactions and reports.Collaborate closely with CPAs and accountants to assist in financial reporting and strategic planning.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Minimum of 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience preferred, preferably in a public accounting firm.Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
