Accounting Specialist (AP, AR & Billing)We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, customer billing, and general accounting. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working cross-functionally, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.Location: On-site — Carol Stream ILSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMPay: $25–$30/hour (depending on experience)Type: ContractBenefits: LaSalle Network consultants are eligible to enroll in benefits. Accounts PayablePrepare and organize documents and supporting information for processingVerify invoice details and schedule disbursementsObtain approvals for invoice payments (individual and batch)Support vendor relationships and respond to payment inquiries2. Accounts Receivable / BillingVerify transaction and contract detailsCalculate charges, refunds, and discounts accuratelyPrepare and send customer invoices via ERP system and emailMonitor and follow up on past-due balances; communicate with customer AP contactsManage aging and support collections efforts as needed3. General AccountingAssist with basic financial reporting by collecting and summarizing informationPost transactions and help maintain accurate accounting recordsReconcile vendor/customer statements and resolve discrepancies or payment delaysMaintain organized electronic and physical filingFollow internal controls and support process improvementsWhat We're Looking ForPrior experience with customer billing (hands-on invoicing)Working knowledge of AP and AR processesStrong attention to detail and accuracySolid communication skills and customer service mindsetProficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office toolsExperience using an ERP system is strongly preferredIf you meet the qualifications and are looking for your next opportunity, we encourage you to apply today.
