Job description
We are looking fora motivated Accounting Specialist to join our growing finance team. Thisposition provides general accounting support and requires someone who isorganized, detailed, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities in afast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist in preparation of financial reports and audit documentation.
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
What Do You Bring to the Table: Required
• 2 years of general accounting experience
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree ofaccuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information withdiscretion
Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a relatedfield
• Experience with payroll software and accounting systems(NetSuite)
• Hands-on payroll processing experience
• Understanding of payroll regulations, tax withholdings,and compliance requirements
Location: This is a hybrid position working at our headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
