Job description
Accounting SpecialistExpress Employment Professionals is currently hiring Accounting Specialists for multiple companies throughout the Shreveport and Bossier area. We are seeking detail-oriented individuals with experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or general office accounting functions.These opportunities range from entry-level accounting support positions to more experienced accounting and bookkeeping roles. Both temporary assignments and long-term evaluation hire opportunities are available.ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform data entry and maintain accurate financial recordsReconcile bank statements and financial transactionsAssist with payroll processing and reportingPrepare invoices, purchase orders, and expense reportsMaintain spreadsheets and accounting databasesAssist with month-end and year-end accounting activitiesProvide general administrative and office support as neededQualificationsPrevious accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or office administration experience preferredKnowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programsAbility to maintain confidentiality and accuracyStrong communication and customer service skillsDegree or certification in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred for some positionsBenefitsEvaluation hire opportunities with long-term potentialTemporary and short-term assignments availableWeekly payFull benefits package availableOpportunities with a variety of local businesses and industries
