Pay: $18.00-$30.00/hour DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Day Shift
Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring Accounting Specialists for multiple companies throughout the Shreveport and Bossier area. We are seeking detail-oriented individuals with experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or general office accounting functions.
These opportunities range from entry-level accounting support positions to more experienced accounting and bookkeeping roles. Both temporary assignments and long-term evaluation hire opportunities are available.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
Assist with payroll processing and reporting
Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
Maintain spreadsheets and accounting databases
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities
Provide general administrative and office support as needed
Qualifications
Previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or office administration experience preferred
Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
Strong communication and customer service skills
Degree or certification in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred for some positions
