If this sounds interesting to you, keep reading and let's talk.Compensation RangeHourly: $19.00 - $24.50 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This JobThe main purpose of this job is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing funds for the Commerce Trust Company client accounts, including wire and ACH processing, check processing, check stop payments as well as performing cost basis adjustments. In addition, ensuring all activity is balanced and processed at end of day cutoff.Essential FunctionsMaintain balance between the accounting and bank related systems, related to wire and ACH processing, check processing, cash entries and stop payments on checksCommunicate with internal partners as well as external financial institutions as neededMonitor and research out of balances appearing on accounting related reconciliation reportsCreate the end of day Cash Control Spreadsheet used to complete the end of day reconciliation.Perform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredBasic knowledge of banking products and servicesBasic knowledge of complex accounting functionsGood analytical and problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepanciesAbility to communicate effectively with internal partners at various levels of leadershipAbility to work independently, prioritize and perform varied assignments with frequent distractionsMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesBasic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and OutlookEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience required1+ years of Finance or Trust Operations experience preferred*Hybrid Schedule: Minimum of 2 days/week on site (training will require up to 5 days per week in office for up to 8 weeks, depending on progress and business need)**Level of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education***For individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
