Accounting Staff (Remote)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Staff to support our finance team with daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, assist in reporting, and help maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Record and post journal entries accurately and timely
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules
Assist with budget preparation and expense monitoring
Support internal and external audit requirements
Process payroll and ensure proper documentation (if applicable)
Maintain organized financial records and files
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Can work in US Business hours
Preferred Skills
CPA certification or CPA candidate (a plus)
Experience in month-end and year-end closing
Ability to work independently and within a team
