Job description
Our smaller , but growing family manufacturing client is looking for a Accounting Supervisor who will own the day-to-day accounting function and serve as the primary accounting resource.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a growing entrepreneurial business and wants broad responsibility rather than a specialized accounting position.
*Onsite in West Chicago*
Responsibilities:
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting
Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
Identify and implement accounting process improvements
Support annual audit and tax preparation
Provide backup support for AP/AR as needed
Partner directly with ownership on financial reporting and accounting operations
Qualifications:
QB exp would be a big +
Full ownership of month-end close
Strong GL, journal entry, reconciliation, financial statement, balance sheet, and P&L experience
Ability to work independently & have strong Excel skills

Salary Range:
100-120K DOE, Education, Etc
