nHyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Accounting Supervisor III based at our Berea, KY facility.
nWhat You Will Do;
nnnLead and oversee financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
n
nnPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
n
nnMonitor and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and support compliance initiatives.
n
nnAnalyze financial results, identify variances, and provide recommendations and explanations to management.
n
nnSupport the development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and long-range financial planning activities.
n
nnCoordinate accounting and reporting activities across multiple locations within the Americas Division.
n
nnSupervise, coach, and develop accounting team members while managing workload priorities and performance.
n
nnChampion process improvement efforts that increase efficiency, enhance reporting quality, and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.

n nWhat You Will Need - Education;
nnnBachelor's degree in Accounting required.
n
nnMaster's degree in Accounting (MSA) preferred.
n
nnCPA, CMA, and/or MBA certification preferred.
n
n nSkills Experience & Abilities:
nnnFinancial reporting and analysis
n
nnAccount reconciliation and month-end close processes
n
nnKnowledge of GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
n
nnAdvanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
n
nnStrong communication and presentation skills
n
nnLeadership, coaching, and employee development
n
nnProcess improvement and internal controls expertise
n
nnFinancial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
n
nnMinimum of five years of progressive accounting experience.
n
nnExperience supervising or leading accounting professionals preferred.
n
nnAbility to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements and reports.
n
nnExperience analyzing financial results and communicating findings to management.
n
nnAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
n
nnExperience working with confidential financial information.
n
nnAbility to collaborate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, vendors, banks, and customers.
n
nnWillingness to travel occasionally (approximately 5-6%).
