Accounting Systems SpecialistThe Accounting Systems Specialist role will be part of the corporate Processing team which manages the firm's accounting system and processes. This position will support and collaborate with regional accounting teams, corporate teams, and other Kimley-Horn offices throughout the country. Responsibilities include monitoring, maintaining, and providing various levels of support for the company's business applications, which include Deltek Costpoint, Concur PRPO-Invoice-Expense, and other in-house developed applications, among others. We are looking for a customer-service focused individual who can effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.This is an in-office opportunity at our Cary Office.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate incoming payments to ensure proper cash applicationPreparing for and scheduling of accounting system processesProvide coverage to the accounting helpdeskDay-to-day maintenance and administration support for applicationsTest enhancements, updates, and system changes to the current applicationsTroubleshoot and resolve users' technical issuesUpdate processing checklists and procedures to adapt to changesAssist with client set up and maintenanceTraining and supporting newer team membersQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ years of relevant accounting experience or courseworkProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteHigh degree of professionalism and strong people skillsExcellent team playerAbility to multi-task and work effectively in a deadline driven environmentEffective oral and written communication skillsWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
