Accounts Payable/Payroll Accounting TechnicianPND Engineers is looking for a motivated Accounts Payable/Payroll Accounting Technician who enjoys coming to work each day knowing their contributions directly support more than 130 employees and managers across all of our offices.Lend support to the accounting department and its specific areas of Accounts Payable and Payroll. Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and friendly service to both vendors and employees. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on teamwork, responsibility, and making an impact in a supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInvoice Processing (AP): Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the financial system.Payment Execution: Schedule and prepare check runs, ACH batches, or wire transfers to pay vendors on timePayroll Processing (PR): Gather, review, and report on timekeeping data, employee hours, and adjustments for payroll processing. Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate salary or wage disbursements. Perform bi-weekly payroll processing and quarterly tax compliance including state reports for unemployment and worker's compensationReconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, ledger entries, and monthly purchasing card or credit card statements. Resolve payment or invoice discrepancies.Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain organized physical and digital accounting files. Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, tax regulations (such as W-9 and 1099 tracking), and record retention rules.Customer & Vendor Support: Answer internal and external inquiries regarding invoice statuses, payment tracking, or account details.What We're Looking ForAn associate's degree in accounting. Bachelor's degree a plus.1-3 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, payroll, or general bookkeeping. or in combination with education.
