Accounts Payable ClerkLocation: Vernon HQSchedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday | On-siteKEVIDKO is a fast-growing foodservice packaging and supplies distributor serving restaurants, cafés, hotels, and hospitality groups throughout Southern California via our distribution division and nationally via shop.kevidko.com. We're looking for a sharp, highly organized Accounts Payable Clerk who takes pride in getting things right. This is an important role in a growing company with significant purchasing volume and a large, active vendor base. You'll help ensure our bills are accurate, vendor accounts are clean, credits are collected, and payments are made correctly and on time. This is not a position for someone who simply enters whatever is placed in front of them. We want someone who notices when a price looks wrong, investigates discrepancies, follows up until issues are resolved, and keeps accounts payable exceptionally organized.What You'll DoEnter and code vendor bills in QuickBooks DesktopMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving recordsReview pricing, quantities, freight, discounts, and payment terms for accuracyInvestigate discrepancies with vendors and internal purchasing and receiving teamsReconcile vendor statements and identify missing invoices, unapplied payments, and unused creditsPrepare vendor payments for approvalTrack credits, deductions, returns, and disputed charges through resolutionMaintain clean, complete supporting documentationRespond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiriesHelp prevent duplicate payments, late fees, missed discounts, and accounting errorsAssist with credit card reconciliation and other accounting projects as neededYou'll Be Great Here If YouAre extremely organized and naturally attentive to detailCatch mistakes that other people missFollow issues through to completion without needing repeated remindersEnjoy reconciling accounts and making the numbers tie outAre comfortable asking questions when something doesn't make senseCan manage a high volume of invoices without sacrificing accuracyCommunicate clearly and professionallyWork well in a fast-moving environment where the company is continuing to grow and improveQualificationsAt least 2 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related accounting experienceExperience processing a meaningful volume of vendor invoicesQuickBooks Desktop experience strongly preferredProficiency with ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in wholesale distribution, inventory, purchasing, foodservice, or a similar environment is a plusBilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not requiredWhy Join KEVIDKO?KEVIDKO is growing quickly, and this position offers more than routine data entry.
