Job description
Accounts Payable ClerkThe Accounts Payable Clerk supports daily financial operations by processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate accounts payable records, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices accurately and in a timely mannerMatch invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentationVerify required approvals and ensure compliance with company policiesPrepare and process scheduled payment runs (check, ACH, and wire)Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepanciesMaintain organized and accurate accounts payable recordsAssist with month-end close activities related to accounts payableRespond to vendor inquiries and internal requests professionallySupport audits by providing documentation and reports as neededAssist with additional accounting or administrative tasks as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree in accounting or finance preferred1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experienceExperience with accounting or ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesWhy You'll Love Working at Serenity:• Luxe-level benefits: We cover 90% of medical, dental & vision• Competitive pay and rapid promotion opportunities• 401(k) – because your future deserves self-care too• 10 PTO days (15 days after first year) + 10 paid holidays to rest, reset, and rechargeJoin Serenity and become part of a team changing lives through innovative care.Serenity Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer.
