Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Geneva, NY (onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
About the Role
Spectrum Careers is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the finance team at a local medical facility. You’ll handle the full AP cycle in a fast-paced healthcare setting, making sure vendors are paid accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
Process high volumes of vendor invoices: review, code, and enter them
Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (2- and 3-way match)
Resolve discrepancies with vendors, purchasing, and department staff
Prepare and process check, ACH, and wire payment runs
Maintain vendor files and answer vendor inquiries
Reconcile vendor statements and research past-due or missing invoices
Process employee expense reimbursements and check requests
Support month-end close and help with audit requests as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts payable experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with an ERP or accounting system; healthcare or hospital AP is a plus
Working knowledge of Excel
Good communication skills and comfort working with vendors and internal departments
Able to work onsite full time in Geneva, NY
