Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager
Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team while establishing clear performance expectations as the Accounts Payable Manager
Oversee invoice processing, coding, approvals, payment execution, and vendor management activities as the Accounts Payable Manager
Monitor workflow queues, payment cycles, aging reports, and exception processing to ensure timely and accurate operations as the Accounts Payable Manager
Manage AP-related month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including accrued liabilities and reconciliations, as the Accounts Payable Manager
Support internal and external audit requirements while maintaining compliance with accounting policies and internal controls as the Accounts Payable Manager
Partner with Treasury to optimize payment timing, vendor relationships, and cash management objectives as the Accounts Payable Manager
Establish and monitor KPIs, reporting metrics, and departmental performance measures as the Accounts Payable Manager
Identify and implement opportunities for automation, process improvements, and system enhancements as the Accounts Payable Manager
Qualifications For The Accounts Payable Manager
5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
5+ years of Accounts Payable leadership or team management experience
Strong knowledge of full-cycle Accounts Payable and procure-to-pay processes
Experience supporting high-volume invoice processing and payment operations
Experience with reconciliations, accrued liabilities, audits, and month-end close activities
Strong understanding of AP controls, approval workflows, vendor management, and performance metrics
Oracle Fusion and Medius experience highly preferred
