This role has hybrid flexibility (remote on Mondays and Fridays) but you must be comfortable being 100% in-office for the first few months during training.
The role will start out on a temporary 6-month project basis and there may be potential for it to become long-term based on business needs at the end of the project.
What You’ll Do
Process vendor invoices, perform three-way matching, and ensure accurate general ledger coding.
Coordinate vendor payments through ACH, EFT, wire transfers, and checks.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice, pricing, tax, and shipment discrepancies.
Support month-end close through AP aging reports, expense accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Maintain vendor records and tax documentation, including W-9s, and assist with audit requests.
Support weekly check runs and provide backup assistance to the broader accounting team.
What We’re Looking For
Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and experience.
Approximately 2–3 years of hands-on, full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
Professional communication skills and the ability to build positive vendor relationships.
Experience with Epicor is a plus; familiarity with i5, Report 2Web, Lotus Notes, or WAS is also beneficial.
