Accounts Payable Specialist
Mars, PA 16046 | Full-Time | $50,000-$62,000
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping things organized? We're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team and support the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
What You'll Do As The Accounts Payable Specialist
The AP Specialist will process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely payments
Manage the AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
The AP Specialist will prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
The AP Specialist will assist with month-end close and support the accounting team with various projects
Maintain accurate AP records and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements
What We're Looking For In An Accounts Payable Specialist 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
