Accounts Payable SpecialistNextStep Recruiting has partnered with a growing healthcare services organization to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist in Plano, TX. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that will work on-site Monday through Thursday, with the potential for a hybrid schedule upon conversion to permanent employment.This position is ideal for an experienced AP professional who thrives in a high-volume, multi-location environment, works with urgency, and can effectively manage competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy.Required:3+ years of Accounts Payable experience within a multi-location organizationHigh-volume invoice processing experience, including accurate GL codingHands-on vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancy resolution experienceIntermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPDemonstrated job stability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Experience supporting Accounts Payable for a healthcare, multi-site, or similarly decentralized organizationExperience with vendor setup, W-9 collection, and payment processingExposure to automated invoice processing and ERP/accounting systemsExperience assisting with month-end close activitiesAccounting-related education or equivalent professional experienceThis is an excellent opportunity for a proactive AP professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and joining a growing organization where responsibilities can expand over time.NextStep Recruiting provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, or applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location where the company has facilities.
