Accounts Payable SpecialistWe are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy finance team in Van Nuys, California. This contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can quickly become effective with established accounting processes and systems. The role focuses on accurate invoice handling, payment processing, and day-to-day accounts payable support within the construction industry.Responsibilities:Process a large volume of vendor invoices with accuracy and strong attention to deadlines.Review and assign proper account codes to invoices before entry and approval.Prepare and execute ACH payments and assist with scheduled check runs.Reconcile payable records and resolve invoice discrepancies by working with internal teams and vendors.Maintain organized accounts payable documentation to support audit readiness and reporting needs.Use Epicor to enter transactions, track payment activity, and manage accounts payable workflows.Support general ledger-related tasks as needed based on business demands and individual capability.
