Accounts Receivable AssistantNorthwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our dynamic care team! As an AR Assistant, you will assist in the day-to-day accounting function of the facility, providing exceptional support to our finance team. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive weekly pay range of $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.Northwood is a 123-bed skilled nursing facility.Responsibilities:Discuss billing situations with residents and/or responsible parties, including the Director of FinanceMaintain accurate and timely records and reports, including all accounts, journals, deposits, ledgers, and moreSecure all cash and valuables on hand, per policyBack-up for the Payroll positionComplete Medicaid redeterminations when applicablePerform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Financial ServicesRequirements:High school diploma or its equivalent requiredSix (6) months of experience in bookkeeping or accounting practice; health care accounting experience preferred but not requiredMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionBenefits:Competitive and weekly payHoliday pay for hourly and salaried employeesOvertime pay for hourly employeesCareer advancement opportunitiesExclusive employer discount programAvailable for Eligible Team Members:Employer-paid life insurance401(k) with employer matchVacation and personal timeHealth, dental, and vision insuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
