Accounts Receivable AssociateHighly motivated and reliable person needed to support as Accounts Receivable Associate. The ideal candidate for this position must have an intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel. Also required are excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven history of providing exceptional customer service at all levels. Our work environment is team oriented and very fast paced; therefore, a strong candidate must have excellent organizational skills, time management skills in addition to a professional attitude and attire that exemplifies the Expeditors culture.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Perform weekly customer contact on all client invoices in a high volume and fast paced environmentEnsure all invoices are paid in termsProvide up to date detailed notes listing actions/status on each invoice in the Accounts Receivable systemSummarize efforts weekly with Accounts Receivable SupervisorProactively identify problem accounts or disputed invoices and follow up queries via email/telephone to effectively resolve issues through building key relationships with customers and internal staffAssist with process improvements related to problematic accounts and work directly with manager for process resolutionProcess credits and issue refunds to customers weeklyBuild key relationships with district operations to quickly resolve invoice issuesRetrieve and research information as neededSupport Accounting Department with miscellaneous projects and assignmentsExpeditors offers excellent benefits:Paid Vacation, Holiday, Sick TimeHealth Plan: MedicalLife InsuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanTraining and Personnel Development ProgramGrowth opportunities within the companyEmployee Referral Program Bonus
