We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Delano, CA . This is an immediate need - the right candidate can start as early as this Wednesday.
About the Role
Our client is a long-established, family-owned agricultural company in the San Joaquin Valley with a growing operation spanning approximately 9,000 acres across multiple Valley locations. They are looking for a detail-oriented AR professional to join their team and help keep billing and collections running smoothly.
What You'll Do Prepare and process invoices for agricultural products and services
Post customer payments, deposits, credits, and adjustments
Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due accounts
Research billing discrepancies and escalate as needed
Upload invoices and retrieve remittance details from customer portals
Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations
Maintain organized AR records and documentation
Provide excellent service to internal teams and external customers
What You Need High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
1+ year of AR, billing, or accounting experience (agriculture industry a plus)
Solid Excel and data entry skills
Accounting software experience (QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Details Location: Delano, CA (on-site)

Reports To: AR Lead

Start Date: Immediate (as early as this Wednesday)
