Accounts Receivable Deductions ManagerThis position involves managing client payment deductions and discrepancies in Accounts Receivable. It involves investigating shortages, pricing issues, vendor compliance issues, and maintaining a professional relationship with all internal and external customers. A successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and be able to quickly maneuver in a fast-paced environment. This individual should have a positive attitude and be able to grow their skill set while in the position.ResponsibilitiesProcess high-volume deductions, identify process issues, and escalate concerns to management with recommended action plansProvide portfolio updates on open issuesDocument work accurately in the system to maintain visibility across the AR teamWork on customer deductions to maximize repayment and on-time disputes.Acquire deduction backup from various sources (email, customer website, and mail)Determine validity of deductions according to established guidelinesDispute invalid deductions with the customer within customer deadlinesPerform research on reoccurring deductions, identify trends, and help determine root causes.Recommend solutions to prevent deductions from continuingEnsure deductions workload is prioritized by vendor portal deadline.Assist in gathering and compiling documents as requested in yearly auditsCommunicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers and internal business partnersBuild and maintain effective customer relationships to resolve discrepanciesAd-Hoc requests as assigned by ManagementRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Deduction Management, Collection, or customer claims experienceWorking knowledge of deduction processing with big box stores a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepanciesKnowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel Skills), NetSuite, and High RadiusKnowledge of warehouse pick, stage, load and shipping processesHighly organized with a keen eye for detail; able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, adapt to interruptions, and consistently deliver accurate work within established deadlines.Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be flexible to changeAbility to comply with all company policies and proceduresPay and Benefits: US$25.00 - US$27.00 HourlyFinal compensation offered will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
