Position Type: Full Time
Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is a single specialty orthopedic hospital. We are physician owned and have been serving the Kansas City area for over 25 years.
We’re seeking an experienced, customer service focused Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team!
Essential Functions:
Daily preparation of medical billing
Claim follow up to ensure proper processing of bills
Posting payments to A/R ledger
Responding to patient questions and resolving issues

QualificationsQualifications/Experience:
Two years of billing/AR collection experience preferred
High school diploma
Knowledge of medical coding
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and kindly with
Ability to respond to telephone and on-site increase from patients in a courteous, timely, and informative manner
