Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong collections experience to support billing, cash application, account reconciliation, and outstanding account follow-up. This role is ideal for someone who can balance accuracy, customer service, and persistence in managing receivables and resolving payment issues. Based on general knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Post cash receipts, wire payments, ACH payments, and credit card transactions. Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts. Conduct collections outreach by phone and email while maintaining professional client relationships. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash. Reconcile customer accounts and prepare account statements as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve payment turnaround. Maintain accurate records of collection activity, payment arrangements, and account status. Support month-end close by assisting with AR reporting and reconciliations. Help ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
