Job description
Sr. Accounts Receivable SpecialistTwo openings available:Temp to HireLong-Term Temp (6+ months)Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourHours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMSummary: The Accounts Receivable Specialist-Senior will coordinate the total accounts receivable function, processing credit card sales, collections, monitoring daily invoicing.Duties & Responsibilities:Posting all receivables and responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and completing bank deposit statements for balancingProcess credit card sales for various departmentsAnalyzing delinquent accountsIdentifies and refers cases requiring legal actionProcesses and sends monthly statements to customersPrepare, maintain, and submit credits to distributorsProcess and maintain new account entries including coordination of credit checksReconciles short payments to make the necessary credits/debit entriesMaintain detailed, accurate reports and prepare documents and reportsResponsible for monitoring and reviewing past due accountsPrepare, maintain, and submit show reconciliationOther duties as assignedEducation & Experience:5+ years’ experience in accounts receivable and collectionsSAP experience REQUIREDExperience with creating processes and procedures to ensure timely collections of paymentsExperience with automated posting of paymentsSkills & Abilities:Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of collectionsStrong knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skillsDetail-orientedWork independently, exercise good judgement and initiativeEstablish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and staff
