Accounts Receivable SpecialistKey Responsibilities:Review vendor invoices and resolve customer billing discrepancies with sales representativesPrepare and process customer deposit invoicesCreate and issue credit memosAdjust project billing records, including billing splits, change orders, and estimatesVerify that invoices are accurately entered into the project and accounting systemsPost daily cash receipts within the accounting system and CRMSend customer payment links and follow up on past-due balancesSupport collections and communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoicesGenerate and distribute monthly accounts receivable reports to customers and the sales teamComplete AIA billing submissions through online portals or Excel templatesPost approved billing into the ERP systemFacilitate lien waivers for general contractorsReconcile customer invoices between the accounting system and CRM dailyAssist with intercompany accounts receivable reviewsProvide backup support for payment processingSupport ad hoc billing, reconciliation, and accounting assignmentsSkills:Accounts receivable, AIA Billing, Cash application, Reconciliation, month end close, project billing, Collection, AccountingTop Skills Details:Accounts receivable, AIA Billing, Cash application, Reconciliation, month end close, project billingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experienceIntercompany accounting exposureExperience working in a large-company accounting environmentExperience managing multiple systems, deadlines, and stakeholder requests simultaneouslyThe strongest candidate will come from a construction, engineering, mechanical contracting, or project-based services environment. They should have direct experience handling AIA billing, project invoices, cash receipts, collections, lien waivers, and account reconciliations. This person must be detail-oriented, comfortable following up with sales representatives and customers, and able to manage a high volume of deadlines without losing accuracy.Experience Level:Intermediate LevelJob Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
