Accounts Receivable & Used Inventory Accounting ClerkWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Used Inventory Accounting Clerk to join our dealership team. This dual role manages all incoming customer and wholesale payments while accurately tracking and costing our used vehicle inventory. You will play a critical role in keeping our cash flow strong and our vehicle ledger up to date.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable: Post daily cash, checks, and credit card payments from vehicle sales, parts, and service departments.Collections & Aging: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue customer or wholesale accounts.Inventory Invoicing: Post purchased used car inventory into the accounting system from auctions, trade-ins, and street purchases.Vehicle Costing: Track reconditioning costs, transport fees, and internal repair orders to calculate accurate total costs for used vehicles.Reconciliation: Balance daily receipts, prepare bank deposits, and reconcile inventory and AR schedules monthly.Schedules & Titles: Maintain clean general ledger schedules and assist with tracking titles for used vehicle inventory.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Minimum 1–2 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience.Industry Knowledge: Prior automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred.Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong data entry accuracy, and excellent communication skills for resolving billing disputes.Our Perks & BenefitsWe offer a competitive package to take care of you and your family, subject to standard plan guidelines:Competitive salaryComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and paid holidaysExclusive employee discounts and company perksEqual Opportunity EmployerWe love a diverse workforce.
