Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an experienced physician leader to serve as the Program Director for a new Transitional Year Residency Program. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a residency program from the ground up while joining one of Georgia's leading hospitals and a rapidly expanding GME environment.

Qualified Candidates
Board Certified or Board Eligible in an applicable ABMS specialty such as Internal Medicine
Minimum of 3 years of educational and/or administrative leadership experience
Strong team-building, communication, and organizational skills
Eligible for or able to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license
Lead the development, administration, and growth of the Transitional Year Residency Program
Maintain ACGME accreditation, compliance, and educational excellence
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate residents
Develop curriculum, policies, and educational initiatives
Coordinate rotations across multiple specialties and departments
Foster an educational environment that supports diverse specialty career pathways
