Direct Care Professional (DCP) Complete Description and RequirementsPart-time Morning Direct Care Professionals assist ACR residents with morning routines, personal and health care needs, meals, transportation, and recreational and leisure activities.Location: This job opening is for the ACR Homes located in Andover, MN.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am - 9am shift, or 6am - 8am + fair share of weekendsPaid training is provided, no experience is necessary.Rate of Pay:$16.00-$18.00/hour for day and evening shifts--dependent on placement location's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable.$18.25-$20.25/hour for weekend shifts--dependent on placement location's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable.$18.25-$20.25/hour for weekday awake overnight shifts--dependent on placement location's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable.$20.50-$22.50/hour for weekend awake overnight shifts (Friday & Saturday)--dependent on placement location's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable.Initial Training pay is $14.00/hourRange listed above is due to $.50-$2.00/hour House Specific Rate Exception Differentials at specific homes!Employment Type: Part-time (see Full-time rates here !)Location: Suburban Twin CitiesAvailable Bonuses:Part-time Awake Night: $500$100 at training completion, $400 6 months from training completionMust do 2 awake shifts/weekPart-time Employees are eligible for the following benefits:ESSTMN Paid Leave401k* Additional compensation includes optional asleep shifts paid at $11.50/ hr, wage increases starting at 1 year of employment, bonuses, tuition assistance, and advancement opportunities.Students ages 16 and 17 who want to become Direct Care Professionals, check out the Direct Care Assistant position.Direct Care AssistantESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:Interact with residentsSupport resident health and well-beingCarry out safety, meal preparation and cleaning proceduresSeek and follow the advice and directions of supervisorsWork effectively with coworkersUphold ACR's Core ValuesParticipate in training and developmentPresent a positive attitude and professionalismAdhere to scheduling policiesBe on-call via a cell phone when requested to do soAdhere to company policies and proceduresAccept other duties as assigned by a superiorReport illegal activityREQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:You must be at least 18 years oldYou must have a drivers license and a relatively clean driving recordYou must be able and willing to provide care for both male and female clientsYou must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.You must be able to work independently and you must have interpersonal skills including empathy, responsibility, self-control, good judgment, and overall adjustmentYou must be able to see, hear, speak, interact, and write in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the positionPart-time requires a minimum of 10 shifts/month (2-3 shifts/week) with an increasing number of homes only requiring 2 shifts/week.Full-time employees must work at least 38-40 hours per weekThis is intended as a summary; additional functions and requirements are stated in the full job description belowACR Homes is an EEO/AA Employer
