We specialize in high-quality workmanship and are continuing to grow our Interiors division in the Fort Wayne market. We are looking for skilled professionals who take pride in their craft and can hit the ground running. Position Overview We are actively hiring experienced ACT Ceiling Installers to join our team. This role is focused on the installation of acoustical ceiling systems (ACT), drop ceilings, and suspended grid systems in commercial environments. This is not an entry-level role — candidates must have prior, hands-on experience installing acoustical ceiling systems. What You'll Do • Install acoustical ceiling tile (ACT), drop ceilings, and suspended ceiling grid systems • Layout and build ceiling grid systems to spec • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications • Measure, cut, and install ceiling materials with accuracy and efficiency • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines • Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on-site • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite What We're Looking For • Proven experience installing ACT / acoustical ceilings / drop ceilings • Strong knowledge of suspended ceiling systems and grid layout • Ability to read and work from blueprints and construction documents • Experience working on commercial construction job sites • High attention to detail and quality workmanship • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Preferred (But Not Required) • Experience with metal stud framing or drywall • Experience on large-scale commercial interior projects What We Offer • Open, negotiable pay — we will pay for top talent • Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) • Steady, year-round work • Local projects — home most nights, minimal travel and no out-of-state work • Opportunity to grow within a strong, established company • Team culture built on Integrity, Accountability, Candor, and Teamwork (I-ACT) Why Join Jack Laurie Group?
