Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, and our Activities team plays a vital role in creating days filled with connection, engagement, and fun.As an Activities Aide, you'll help bring our residents' days to life by planning and supporting activities that reflect their interests, abilities, and personal histories. Your work will directly support residents' physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.Key responsibilities include:Completing assessments related to residents' physical abilities, cognitive function, and personal interestsDesigning and facilitating engaging activities for individuals and groups with varying abilitiesSupporting personalized activity programs that promote participation and enjoymentCompleting Activity Department sections of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs)Documenting assessments and progress notes accurately and on scheduleCollaborating with nursing and other departments to ensure activities run smoothlyAssisting with the Volunteer Program as directedMaintaining consistent, reliable attendance as scheduledWhat You Bring:National Certification Council for Activity Professionals Certification (NCCAP) preferred or training to be completed within first year of hire.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or related field (preferred)Experience with Point Click Care or similar software (preferred)CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA team-focused mindset with the ability to work independently when neededComfort using computers, including Microsoft Office, and learning new systemsUnderstanding of confidentiality laws, including HIPAAA commitment to professionalism, integrity, kindness, and empathyMost importantly, you bring a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.Why Brendan House?Make meaningful connections with residents every dayBe part of a collaborative, mission-driven teamUse your creativity to make each day specialWork in an environment where compassion and excellence go hand in handShift: Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M.Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
