Activities - Life Enrichment Aide

Located on lush, manicured lawns and gardens in Framingham, MA, we are just minutes from Route 9 for easy access to the Mass Pike.
We are seeking to fill the position of Activities - Life Enrichment Aide on our Short-Term Rehab Unit (Rosarie) .
Full-Time shifts available = Mon - Friday; 8:30am to 4:30pm plus 2 Sundays per month.
$17 to $19.74 per hour based on skills and experience.

Activities - Life Enrichment Aide Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Desire to engage with the Senior community; experience preferred but not required.
Computer literate with training on entering resident care plan codes (MDS), preferred.
Must be able to speak, write and understand English.
Activities - Life Enrichment Aide Working Conditions:
Bending, standing, sitting, lifting, walking and moving intermittently during working hours.
Must assist in the evacuation of residents as necessary.
Activities - Life Enrichment Aide Job Summary:
Assist in planning, organizing and implementing activities - movies, parties, games, crafts.
Assist the Activity Director with preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the activity needs of each resident.
Attend to Resident Care Plans.
Develop and maintain a good rapport with all the services involved with the care plan.
Encourage resident participation and social communication during group activities and recreation.
Assist in the transportation of residents to activities.
