Job description
Overview In this role, you support life insurance audits and perform actuarial analyses related to reserves, policyholder liabilities, and financial reporting. You will develop and maintain actuarial models using AXIS, Prophet, Pathwise, and other platforms, and prepare workpapers and analyses for disclosures. You collaborate with audit teams and client personnel to drive issue resolution and ensure accurate reporting. This position offers a path toward ASA designation and exposure to life and health product lines in a large advisory practice.

ResponsibilitiesSupport life insurance audits focusing on Life, Annuity, and Long-Duration Health products
Perform actuarial analyses related to reserves, policyholder liabilities, financial reporting, and actuarial assumptions
Develop, test, and maintain actuarial models using AXIS, Prophet, Pathwise, and other platforms
Prepare audit workpapers, technical documentation, and analyses supporting actuarial balances and disclosures
Review actuarial data, model outputs, and reporting processes used in financial and regulatory reporting
Collaborate with audit teams and client personnel to support engagement execution and issue resolution
Key requirementsMinimum one year of actuarial experience in insurance, reinsurance, consulting, auditing, financial reporting, valuation, or modeling
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
Progress toward ASA designation, preferred
Working knowledge of Life, Annuity, and Long-Duration Health products and exposure to U.S. GAAP, Statutory Accounting, and IFRS
Experience with actuarial valuation, financial reporting, analytics, or modeling platforms
Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
