MidState Medical Center, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to help lead compassionate, patient-first nursing care in Meriden, Connecticut. In this role, you will coordinate daily unit operations, support staffing and scheduling, guide clinical staff, and promote safe, high-quality care. You will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, monitor quality and regulatory compliance, address patient and staff concerns, and contribute to staff development and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills and experience supporting nursing teams in an acute-care setting.
