Acute Care - Family Nurse Practitioner FNP / Physician Assistant PA
MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established hospital on the central coast of California. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care across all age groups, with a focus on preventive care, health promotion, and disease management. This position allows you to make a significant impact in a beautiful coastal community.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; analyze results to diagnose conditions.
Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized care to address or prevent illness and injury.
Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting.
Discuss procedures, explain test results, and outline prescribed treatments with patients.
Document patient findings, treatment plans, and follow-up notes in the electronic medical record.
Supervise and direct professional and ancillary staff in patient care.
Stay current with medical practices and advancements.
Maintain the confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Education & Certifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Board Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner.
California State licensure.
Current DEA licensure.
BLS Certification.
Experience:
Preferred: 3 years of experience, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
