Job description
Position
Inpatient Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join Wellstar Pulmonary Medicine.
Shift Details
100% inpatient pulmonary
7 total shifts per 2‑week pay period (six 12‑hour shifts 7 am–7 pm and one 8‑hour shift 7 am–3 pm)
No nights or call
Weekend shift required at least one of every four weekends
Responsibilities
Collaborate with attending physicians during inpatient rounds
Assist with new consults and perform bedside procedures
Receive on‑the‑job training for thoracentesis and potential chest tube placement
Provide care across four hospitals: Kennestone (Marietta), Cobb (Austell), Douglas (Douglasville), Paulding (Hiram)
Requirements
Holder of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Experience preferred; new graduates welcome
Active or eligible for a Georgia state medical license
