nMorton Plant Hospital , part of the BayCare Health System , is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our acute care rehabilitation team. This role provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to adult patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders resulting from stroke, neurological conditions, trauma, or other medical complexities.
nAcute Care Speech Therapist Pool Responsibilities:
nnnEvaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing impairments in an acute care setting.
n
nnDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
n
nnCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated care.
n
nnDocument patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
n
nnEducate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
n
nnParticipate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to discharge planning.
n
n nRequirements:
nnnCCC-SLP (Speech Language Pathology)
n
nnBLS (Basic Life Support)
n
nnSpeech Therapy License
n
nnRequired Master's Speech Therapy
n
nn1 year Clinical Related is preferred
n
