nAcute Care Surgery Opportunity with UNC Rex in Raleigh, NC
nNorth Carolina Surgery at Raleigh is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join their practice. This is a full-time position within a well-established, community-focused surgical practice providing high-quality care to adult patients across a broad range of general surgical needs.

nnRotating 12hr Shifts, 14 shifts per 28 day cycle

nnnMD or DO from an accredited medical school
n
nnBoard certified or board eligible in General Surgery
n
nnActive North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)

nnBLS and ACLS certification

nnExperience preferred with interest in acute care procedures

nEducation Requirements:
n● Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
nLicensure/Certification Requirements:
n● DEA;MD
n● BLS
nProfessional Experience Requirements:
n● Prefer prior hospitalist experience.
nKnowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
n● Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
