Acute Clinical Pharmacist - Full Time
MLR is looking for a full-time, permanent Pharmacist to join our client's expanding healthcare team, where you can play a key role in advancing patient care!
Key Responsibilities for Pharmacist:
Dispense medications with accuracy, providing expert advice on safe and effective use.
Full-time, direct-hire position within an inpatient hospital setting.
Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accurate and safe delivery of medications.
Manage medication therapy by educating patients on drug interactions, side effects, and correct usage.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to support optimal patient outcomes.
Keep detailed records of dispensed medications, patient profiles, and insurance details.
Requirements for Pharmacist:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) from an accredited pharmacy program.
Active Pharmacist license in New Mexico.
BLS certification required.
Preferred: BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist) or BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist).
PGY1 Residency in a hospital setting is a plus.
