Job description
This position involves providing direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in an inpatient medicine setting, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for acutely ill adult patients. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, prioritize clinical needs, and utilize critical nursing skills in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, education, safety, and adherence to standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals.
Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs, respecting cultural and individual preferences.
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and care continuity.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree, RN license, and ability to work safely in a high-acuity environment.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills.
