Our mission statement is "to improve the health of the people we serve, by providing the highest quality and most effective care and services -- and to return value to the people in our communities.Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and therapeutic activities to improve strength, range of motion, and functional mobility.Monitor and document patient progress, responses to treatment, and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques for continued care and recovery.Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.Adhere to infection control and safety protocols within the hospital environment.Qualifications:Required associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Or PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) Temporary and licensure within 6 months.Required Current state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant.CPR certification (BLS required).Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs and schedules.Facility: BayCare Health System, Rehab Services Main-WHHLocation: Winter Haven Hospital - Winter Haven, FLStatus: Pool, Exempt: NoShift Hours: varies/DaysWeekend Work: OccasionalOn Call: NoHow often will this team member be working remotely?
