Job description
Respiratory Therapist
Respiratory Therapist - RRT or CRT- Up To $15,000 Sign on Bonus Pay Rate: $70,000 - $95,000/year Must have a NY License
Responsibilities:
Perform assessments of patients' respiratory needs, develop care plans, and make recommendations to the healthcare team.
Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilator therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
Monitor patient responses to treatments, make adjustments as necessary, and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care, treatment options, and disease management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Participate in emergency response and code blue teams as needed.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license/certification in NY
Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
ACLS and BLS certification preferred.
